Primary Objective of the Show
To bring to the Houston audience Indian culture using a well-known story line. Our
aim is to depict the entire story through our Indian language, costumes and our
classical style of dancing.


Elements of the show
This production will showcase all the performing arts (Kathak dance, Dholak, and
Tabla) learnt by the students of Shivangini school.  There will be more than 125
performers in a beautiful choreography that will bring together singers, percussion
artists, musicians, and dancers.  The sonnets (called kavits) and songs in the
show have been especially composed for this production by Mrs. Shanti Sahai
‘Nalini”, a renowned poetess of Lucknow, India.
